I’m Peter, do the teacher and I love to take pictures. I live in a sun-drenched town in southern Italy, near Naples.
What is photography, what is a photo for me? Question from a million dollars… A memory, a moment of your life, people, places, emotions. A picture can say many things and can make you come back with the mind from feelings and emotions experienced years before, all those that our small part of the brain that we use, sometimes forget.
Photographing is the only way to stop in an instant, leaving imprinted all the emotions felt at that moment and all the memories of that time. Above all, it is the only way to be able to recall when you want and don’t allow time to take them away forever. Each photos is the residue, the chemical precipitate of something that “has been there”. Maybe, is the presence of an absence.
I haven’t preference about the photographic genres. I like landscapes as the sunsets. I love street photography and still life. I have fun with macros. I just love taking pictures. It ‘s the thing that I enjoy most.

I’m Roland, from the Philippines.
I make a living as a copy editor, and I stay alive by going to the beach very often. Although my first love belongs to linguistics, I have always had a sweet spot in my heart for photography. For me, it’s a sort of fourth-dimension outlet for when words are not enough to express emotions or other thoughts.
As for my work, it would be a juxtaposition of extremely urban environments and the great outdoors.
I live in and work in the city but I often go to the beach, armed with my Sony NEX-F3. Despite being compact, it really packs quite a punch. Anyway, that explains how the main themes of my work came to be.

I’m Kana Alam, I live in London and currently on my gap year.
My family is not exactly the richest, so having a quite expensive hobby like photography is tricky. But Chase Jarvis once said, “The best camera is the one that is with you”, and Alfred Eisenstaedt said “The most important thing is not the camera, but the eye”. They are now my life mottos and I keep reminding myself each day that photography is always about the feel.
